[Far West Masters news]

For those of you in the Bay Area, USSA is doing an Olympic year kickoff event in San Francisco on 
Saturday Nov. 9 - details below.

Please remember to get your Far West membership application off to Membership VP Marcie Pettigrew 
this week (before late fee deadline on 10/31!).

Our Far West Masters race season opens in early December at Mammoth, just a little over a month 
away now.  Mammoth will be running their Masters training camp the week after Thanksgiving, early 
season camps in Colorado are kicking off, and we'll get more information up on the web site this 
week about training programs here in the Far West to help everyone find opportunities that fit 
their needs.

USSA Snow Ball

This year's USSA San Francisco Snow Ball is being held on Saturday 9th November at the San 
Francisco Old Mint. This is the official Sochi Sendoff before the 2014 Olympic Winter Games and 
features Olympic Gold Medalist Julia Mancuso with Grete Elliason, Tommy Ford, Simon Dumont and 2014 
Olympic hopefuls.

You can join the athletes for lavish food and cocktails, music, entertainment, a private 
performance by the Flying Ace All Stars, and an exclusive silent auction featuring official Team 
gear, Olympic memorabilia, once-in-a-lifetime experience packages and more!
