So, for the avoidance of any further doubt, I clarify that for the Season 2015-2016, Masters are not required to use the "new" Alpine Helmets in FIS sanctioned events. By "new" helmets, we understand the helmets identified with the new FIS sticker: This matter will be further discussed at the meeting of the Sub-Committee for Masters Racing, in consultation with the Equipment Committee, during the International Ski Congress to be held in Mexico in June 2016. Until a new decision is taken, no racer starting in a FIS Masters Event is obliged to use the so called "new" helmets.
