[FWM News] Season Finals Race Info

[Far West Masters news]

Our season finals event will be at Mammoth Mountain on Thu-Fri-Sat Mar.
31-Apr. 2, including two makeup races added after the cancellation of
the March Northstar and Mt. Rose races, and wrapping up with the annual
season awards banquet.
 
Race schedule:
 * Thu 3/31: SGx3 - World Cup/Terry's (Air Jump start at the base of
   Cornice Bowl)
 * Fri 4/1: GSx2 - World Cup/Terry's (Redelsbergers start above Chair
   23)
 * Sat 4/2: SL - ADG (Andy's Double Gold)
SG training will be available on Wednesday 3/30 - meet at 9:30 at the
top of World Cup *(access off the backside of Chair 3 Face Lift
Express)*. Training fee of $20 can be paid at the Mammoth Race
Department office.
 
The banquet will be Saturday evening at Canyon Lodge, featuring a buffet
menu with chicken, beef, and pasta choices. Sign up on
SkiRaceReg.com/fw; extra tickets can be requested by sending email to
raceadmin at farwestmasters.org, with name/count.
 
Deadline reminders: early registration deadline is Sunday 3/27. Online
registration closes on Tuesday 3/29 at 9pm PT. *(early close needed to
prepare for first races on Thursday)*
 
*SIGNUP TIPS*
 
Yes, you CAN sign up for the SL and banquet on *SkiRaceReg.com*!! Some
of you are confused because the *Home* page sidebar at the left side of
the window only shows the next five upcoming races, so you see the SG
and GS races but not the SL or banquet.
 
Not to worry!! Just click on the *Races* button at the top of the page
to display the complete calendar of upcoming races; scroll down the
listing and you'll find the SL and banquet signups at the end of the
calendar listing. See attached screenshots with tips on displaying the
complete Races calendar of signups.
