The 2011 race season may be over, but there's still plenty of racing
experiences available this spring. With many Sierra ski areas reaching
record season snowfalls, it'll be a long ski season with a number of
spring race camps offered at Mammoth and Tahoe areas.

The Squaw Valley Masters program is offering extra weekends of training
on April 22-24 and April 29-May 1. The Program will operate the same
hours with gate training and free skiing from 9:30 a.m. to noon, and
free skiing from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost is $70 per day or $210
for each three-day weekend session. A minimum of ten skiers people a
day are required to cover the costs of training. Please e-mail Sid in
race services at raceservices at squaw.com to sign up.

PointZero1, founded by US Ski Team alums Phil McNichol, Erik Schlopy
and Bryon Friedman, is running two sessions of their Mammoth Camp in
May. This is an an adult ski racing camp focused on GS/Super-G, Slalom
and Big Mountain skiing progression. Along with morning gate training,
there will be optional afternoon big mountain skiing with coaching. The
camp provides the opportunity for skiers of all abilities to improve
their skiing while experiencing what it's like to train on a World Cup
Team. The 4-day sessions will be on May 7-10 and May 12-15. Visit the
pointzero1.com web site or contact Mike Cremeno by email
mike at pointzero1.com or phone 603-340-3915 for details and to register.
