[FWM News] Passing of Scott Fritz

[Far West Masters news]

For the second time this season, I need to pass along sad news. I was
informed this afternoon Scott Fritz, who just began racing with us this
season, passed away while skiing yesterday at Northstar. Scott was found in
a tree well by other skiers. He was apparently skiing down to the training
course when he died. I'm sorry for the paucity of information, but this is
all the facts we know at this time.

 

As previously mentioned, Scott began racing with us this season, racing at
The Northstar GS, and last weekend's Bernard Cup Races at Squaw Valley.
Scott was 51 years old and raced in my class (Mens class 6) and made his
home in Reno Nevada.
