[FWM News] Sierra at Tahoe races this weekend CANCELLED

The Far West Masters GS races scheduled for this weekend Jan. 23-24 at 
Sierra at Tahoe are cancelled due to weather and snow conditions, as 
the fourth in our week-long series of storms rolling through the 
Sierras moves in today. 

Sierra at Tahoe has a storm total of over 50" of new snow, with over a 
foot yesterday and more coming today.  Although a weather break is 
forecast for the coming weekend, the race organizers and jury officials 
have determined that this is too much new snow to be able to prepare 
the race venue for a safe competition.

Plan B option for this weekend - powder!!

Details will be posted on the web site later today about plans for 
rescheduling this event.
