Northstar GS

Racing resumed in the Far West last weekend with a GS race on Saturday at Northstar. Originally 
planned as a 3-race weekend, schedule adjustments had to be made to accommodate the still-limited 
terrain available for racing as our dry pattern continues after a welcome series of storms in late 
January.

Harold Wescott
--------------
Sad news from Rocky - Harold Wescott passed away this weekend while at Ski Cooper to compete in the 
weekend Rocky DH races. Initial indications are that he may have suffered a heart attack.

Harold was a fierce competitor and well known to many, as he resided in a number of different 
divisions over the years, including a period here in Far West before he moved on to the Rockies. A 
familiar face on the race hill and the podium, Harold was a great character. He will be missed.
